Folk Art Painting Classes

These classes are designed
for the student who has completed the NEXT STEPS BEGINNERS II
program classes and wishes to refine their painting skills while
learning more advanced techniques.
Classes are 2 to 2 ½ hours in length and are scheduled
mornings, afternoons, or evenings, often 7 days a week. The projects
range from Easy Intermediate to Advanced Intermediate. Our instructors
consistently offer new classes and sometimes bring back old favorites.
Styles range from primitive to floral, cute to complex. Various
surfaces are used, further enabling the student to personalize
their projects, complimenting their interest and style. Surfaces for classes are to be purchased from the shop,whether it is the surface for the class or an alternate piece. Prep
is required and homework is often necessary to complete each
project.
Class fees are usually $19.95 for a one-week class and $29.95
for a two-week class. Surface costs vary. A 50% deposit is required
for surfaces over $25.00. A 3-day cancellation notice is necessary
to receive a store credit for fees paid. For classes using more
expensive surfaces, a 2 week notice is required to receive this
store credit. Advanced registration is required so sign up today.

Instructor: Jan Boettcher
Paint this beautiful coaster sampler, featuring different styles of Rosemaling. This class is taught by Jan Boettacher from Turn of the Century Woods in Thorntown, IN. Jan is knowledgable in many style of Rosemaling and loves to share her knowledge and love of this art form. She will also be offering additional coaster patterns for sale. You have your choice of the
vertical wood piece as seen or a horizontal piece. Please call the shop to register.

- Phone registration by Visa, Mastercard, Discover
or American Express.
- If you are unable to attend the class session,
a three day notice is required on classes that have a surface
cost under $25 otherwise a 2 week cancellation notice is required
in order for you to be given a store credit.
Surfaces for classes are to be purchased from the shop,whether it is the surface for the class or an alternate piece.
On class surfaces exceeding $25, a 50% deposit
is required at the time of registration.
Class wood pieces not picked up for class
will be held for one week, if not picked up, the wood will be
put out for sale and any deposit forfeited
